Located off the beaten track, Großarltal valley offers the ideal atmosphere for relaxed holidays. In the winter Großarl and Dorfgastein are part of Ski Amadé ski resort. The modern lifts take skiers and snowboarders right up Kreuzkogel, providing stunning views of Dachstein and Großglockner. The neighbouring ski resorts of Bad Hofgastein, Bad Gastein and Sportgastein make your winter holidays an experience. All in all, tourists have 200km of groomed pistes and 50 lifts available. Moreover, Ski Amadé boasts 270 lifts and 760 kilometres of pistes, offering unlimited skiing fun with only one lift ticket. When visiting Großarltal, you may also check out the ski resorts of Gasteinertal valley, Salzburg Sportwelt, Hochkönig and Schladming – Dachstein. Ski Amadé includes 25 places in Salzburg and Styria, as well as around 5,000 hotels of all categories. 200 huts and mountain restaurants make sure nobody goes hungry.
