The Stubai Glacier lifts take you up to 3210 m in only a few minutes. Around here winter season starts early in October. At this altitude snow can be guaranteed and skiing is possible until mid-June. 110 kilometres of piste make the Stubai Glacier the biggest glacier ski area in Austria. Also cross-country skiers are happy about powder snow.
The view from the 3210 m “Top of Tyrol”- vantage point is fantastic especially in summer. In good weather more than a hundred mountains higher than 3000 m can be seen. Austria’s highest mountain restaurant is also worth visiting.
A walk along the “wild water trail” leads past subglacial streams and wild waterfalls. This unique hiking trail has only been opened in 2008. The hotels of Neustift are looking forward to your visit.
